Three-day timeline Saturday: land at SAN at 9:30, shop the Mercato, check in and refresh, then Fright Deck at 6. Sunday: 9 a.m. ferry to Coronado, explore by bus, bike or rideshare, return to the hotel by 2, then Little Italy trick-or-treat and dinner. Monday: Midway 10–1, hotel luggage pickup, and arrive at SAN by 2 for the 5:30 flight. Stay on the bay. One main thing each day.   2. Late morning–1:30 p.m.Little Italy Mercato on West Date Street; open 8 a.m.–2 p.m. Official schedule [1].
  3. About 2 p.m.Return to the hotel, check in if the room is ready, refresh, and rest before the event.
  4. 5:15 p.m.Walk to USS Midway for Fright Deck; doors open at 6 p.m. Food and drinks are for purchase. [2]

  3. 1–2 p.m.Return to the hotel for bags, then Uber to SAN. To protect the 2 p.m. airport target, leave the Midway by 12:45 and the hotel by 1:20; traffic could affect arrival.
  4. Ticket noteMonday’s daytime museum admission is separate from Saturday’s Fright Deck event ticket. [4][2]

  • Other ways around Coronado: Bike & Beyond at 1201 First St., Suite 122 rents adult/kids’ bikes and surreys on weekends, 8:30 a.m.–dusk. Return a rental to the Landing by 1 p.m. to make the ferry.
